NiDCOM Chairman congratulates Bukola Babajide on prestigious MBE honour

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has extended warm congratulations to  Olubukola Moyo Babajide on her appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by His Majesty King Charles III, in recognition of her outstanding services to Technology, Business and Inclusion.
 
Babajide is a distinguished Nigerian in the diaspora, entrepreneur, technology leader, and founder of Crystal Options Ltd. and Female Techpreneur.
 
She was named among recipients of the King’s Birthday Honours List and awarded the MBE for her remarkable contributions to advancing technology, empowering businesses, and promoting inclusion within the United Kingdom and beyond
 
Dabiri-Erewa described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of excellence, innovation, and impactful leadership, noting that  Babajide’s achievements continue to bring pride to Nigeria and the global Nigerian diaspora community.
 
According to the NiDCOM Chairman, “Bukola Babajide’s recognition with the MBE is a testament to the resilience, brilliance, and positive impact of Nigerians across the world. Through her work in technology, entrepreneurship, and advocacy for greater inclusion, she has demonstrated the values of hard work, innovation, and service that continue to distinguish Nigerians globally.”
 
She added that the award further underscores the significant contributions Nigerians in the diaspora are making in their various fields of endeavour, contributing to economic growth, technological advancement, and social development in their countries of residence while maintaining strong ties with Nigeria.
 
The NiDCOM Chairman commended Babajide for serving as a role model to young Nigerians, particularly women and aspiring entrepreneurs, encouraging them to pursue excellence and create meaningful impact in society.
 
Dabiri-Erewa expressed confidence that the honour would inspire more Nigerians in the diaspora to continue contributing positively to their communities and to the development of Nigeria.
 
She wished  Babajide continued success and greater accomplishments in her future endeavours.
