AKPABIO FELICITATES AKWA IBOM GOV, ENO AT 60

●●●Says, He Has United The State Across Party Lines In Eleven Months

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on his 60th birthday.

Akpabio, in a birthday message personally signed by him, described Governor Eno as a peace-loving leader, who has united Akwa Ibom in the first 11 months of his administration.

He described Eno’s tenure so far as encouraging and promising with the numerous developmental strides as well as the accompanying peace and love, enjoyed by the people of the oil-rich state.

Akpabio himself, a two-term former governor of the state, assured Governor Eno of his support and that of the 10th Senate in making the state, a reference point in the comity of states.

His words, “On behalf of my family, the people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District and the 10th Senate, I rejoice with my dear Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on this auspicious occasion of your 60th birthday celebration today.

“It is a truism that when the righteous are on the throne, the people rejoice. Under one year, you have turned Akwa Ibom into one big vivacious family soused in cordiality.

“Your emergence as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State and the accompanying peace, love, and development in the state in the last 11 months, are indicators of the fact that God is with you and your government.

“As you celebrate this day, be assured of my support and that of the 10th Senate under my leadership, in your efforts at making Akwa Ibom State, a better place for us all including children yet unborn.

“Once again, happy birthday Your Excellency and many happy returns of the day,” he concluded.
