The Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance Agency Is Established By The Laws Of Alwa Ibom State House Of Assembly, Cap No. 12.2021. The Law Establishing The Agency Was Signed
By Gov. Udom Emmanuel, Immediate Past Governor Of Akwa Ibom State.
It Has A Mandate To Ensure That All Residents Of The State Have Access To Efficient And Effective Health Care Services And Reduce Catastrophic Health Expenditure By Pooling Funds For Strategic Health Care Purchasing.

To ensure that all residents of Akwa Ibom State have access to efficient and
effective health care services to reduce
