Our CMD, Prof. Emem Abasi Bassey, graciously approved that 100 cataract cases be carried out at UUTH with prompt financial backing. We want to implore everyone to take advantage of this rare magnanimity and inform relations and friends to access the free surgical care.
Kindly know that cataract is the commonest cause of blindness and its commonest cause is aging. The program starts in January 2025 and ends when we clock 100 free cataract surgeries.
All patients will be screened in UUTH, EYE CLINIC, Mondays through Friday, except Tuesday.
