BREAKING NEWS: APC EXTENDS ELECTRONIC MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION TO FEBRUARY 8

APC extends electronic membership registration to February 8, reschedules ward congresses to February 18, and national convention to March 27–28, Osun, Ekiti, FCT, and Rivers excluded for State congresses.

In a statement released by Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), it was announced that during its 183rd meeting, which took place on Friday, January 30th, 2026, at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC made several key resolutions:

“The electronic membership registration exercise has been extended from 31st January 2026 to 8th February 2026, following requests from Party stakeholders. This extension is to enable more supporters and members to register and validate their membership.

“Ward Congresses will hold on Wednesday, 18th February 2026, while the National Convention is now scheduled to be held on 27th–28th March 2026.

“Osun State , Ekiti State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are excluded from scheduled Congresses due to upcoming elections, while Rivers State is excluded due to the subsisting tenure the current executive committees of the Party in the State.

“The National Convention Planning Committee was duly constituted.

“Further details on the adjusted Congress and National Convention timetable and schedule of activities, and composition of the National Convention Planning Committee will be announced in due course,” the statement reads.
