CHARITY AS GOV ENO HANDS OVER COMPASSIONATE HOME TO NSIT UBIUM WIDOW

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has donated a fully-furnished two-bedroom bungalow and business support grant of 500,000 Naira to a widow, Madam Nkereuwem Umoren, in Ikot Ekpene Udo village, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of the State.

The Governor, represented by Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Emembong, also ordered a comprehensive medical check for the beneficiary, emphasizing the importance of good health to enjoy her new home.

Madam Umoren, a widow with six children, showed extreme excitement as she expressed gratitude to the Governor for his kindness, praying for God’s continuous blessings on him and his family.

Stakeholders, led by Deputy Leader of the State House of Assembly, Barr. Otobong Bob applauded the Governor for fulfilling his campaign promise of “connecting the dots” and expressed pride in his compassionate leadership across the State.

In a project overview, Special Assistant to the Governor on Humanitarian Services, Prince Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, highlighted the uniqueness of the Nsit Ubium home, promising the Governor’s commitment to reaching the hitherto unreached.
