Earlier on Monday, in a live- changing intervention and in line with his compassionate disposition, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno changed the story of an old gardener, Mr Edet who had worked diligently in the Government House environment after the Governor interacted with him and he requested for his Statistics graduate son to be employed by government.
The care driven •Governor, Pastor Umo instantly directed the employment of the son in the Statistics Department in the State.
The Governor who walked over from his lodge, paid an unscheduled visit to the office of the Secretary to the State Government and the Head of the Civil Service, visited various offices where he interacted with the staff and security team and asking after their welfare .
The people’s loving governor in appreciation of the staff and security team at the complex donated a special welfare allowance in the sum of N10 Million to all on duty and commended them for their hard work and contributions to the bureaucracy and the security of the State.
