Wednesday, April 24, 2024, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, the compassionate and people – oriented Governor of Akwa Ibom State will be celebrating his 60th Birthday Anniversary and owing to his compassionate disposition, His Excellency has directed that all gifts intended for him on this day should be redirected to humanity and humanitarian affairs.
Interpreting this directive, the Enobong Uwah Foundation, is set to pay a semester’s fees for 60 students drawn from various public Tertiary Institutions – University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State University, College of Education, College of Science and Technology and Schools of Nursing – across the state.
Ten other students who shall be fully inducted as SCHOLARS OF ENOBONG UWAH FOUNDATION, shall have ALL Financial Obligations of their Tertiary Education completely handled by the Foundation.
The beneficiaries of this gesture are drawn from a pool of over 5000 applications for the Enobong Uwah Foundation 2023/2024 Scholarship Scheme. Applicants are please advised to check the attached list for their names.
PROCEDURE FOR COLLECTION OF GRANT UPON CONFIRMATION OF NAME:
1. Applicants whose names are on the attached list are please requested to go for verification on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 @ theBUNKer, Plot G32, B.G Bassey Avenue, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, between 10 am – 12 noon.
2. Verified Beneficiaries are to converge at the Ibom Leadership and Enterprise Development Centre (former Ibom E-library) on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 to claim their fees by 12 noon prompt.
