The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno,
has ordered the immediate demolition of all illegal structures whose compensation had already been paid, around the Nsit Atai Junction on the newly reconstructed Uyo – Airport dual carriage way.
All traders along that axis and owners of other illegal buildings which may impede the free vehicular movements and put their lives at risk, have also been directed to immediately vacate their stalls.
The newly remodeled road is to be inaugurated on Monday, May 27,2024.
