GOV UMO ENO COMMISSIONS MODEL HEALTH CENTRE, ODOT, NSIT ATAI LGA

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, represented by Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi Commissions Model Health Centre, Odot, out of 17 ongoing Model Health Centres in different parts of the State.

The Model Health Centre comprises Consulting Rooms, a Theatre, Wards, Doctors, Matrons & Nurse Quarters, a Laboratory, an ICT & Records Unit, a Modern Kitchen, Dining Rooms, Solar Powered Energy, Standby Generator, 214 Medical Equipment and consumables in inventory.

Commends Odot community for providing land to the Government at no cost for the building and the Contractor for the timely delivery of the project according to specifications.

Donates N10m to the community to appreciate them for their cooperation.

Urges the community to safeguard the facility against vandalism.

Promises a vibrant and integrated healthcare delivery system in the State in line with the ARISE Agenda.

Assures rural transformation through the provision of critical amenities and infrastructures.

Announces the commencement of Phase Two of the One Project Per Local Government Area Initiative of his administration.

Reiterates his commitment to fairness and inclusivity in project allocation in the State.

Says the facility will reduce infant and maternal mortality in Nsit Atai Local Government Area to the barest minimum.
