GOVERNOR ENO BRIEFS AKWA IBOM COMMUNITY IN ABUJA

As a part of the citizens’ engagement campaign of the Akwa Ibom State Government, the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, met and interacted with the Leadership and Members of the Akwa Ibom Community in Abuja during their monthly meeting yesterday, at the Akwa Ibom House, Abuja.

At the meeting, the Governor who was represented by a delegation led by the Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong presented the scorecard of the administration and appreciated the community for their sustained support. He also assured them of inclusion in the activities of government despite their distance from home.

Also speaking at the event, the trio of Morgan Ekanem, Ime Uwah, and Hon. Aniekan Umanah, hinted at different aspects of the ARISE Agenda and the projects undertaken therefrom, assuring the community of the Governor’s best intention.

After an engaging interactive session, the representatives of the different leadership structures of the community expressed their appreciation, and support for, the Pastor Umo Eno-led administration, asking for more frequent engagements and inclusion in governance. They passed a vote of confidence on the Governor for his human-centric disposition to governance.
