In an emotional address, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has made a heartfelt declaration, stating he has no intention of remarrying following the passing of his beloved wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. The Governor’s remarks came during a visit from the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio GCON, at the Government House in Uyo on Friday, October 4.
Governor Eno expressed his commitment to furthering his late wife’s pioneering work through her pet project, Golden Initiative For All (GIFA). To ensure continuity, he has appointed her daughter, Helen Helen Eno Obareki, to coordinate the initiative. This move has garnered widespread support, including praise from the wife of the President, Her Excellency Remi Tinubu. Helen, your mom didn’t bring you to me just for nothing… God will be with you. Don’t worry, you will do more than your mom.” – Her Excellency Remi Tinubu said.
