MINISTRY OF EDUCATION SUSPENDS RECENT TEACHER AND PRINCIPAL POSTINGS IN AKWA IBOM STATE

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet, has announced the suspension of recent postings for teachers, vice principals, and principals in public secondary schools. This decision comes in light of concerns that the postings could disrupt the smooth resumption of schools scheduled for September 17th, 2024.

The Ministry of Education is committed to upholding quality service delivery in line with the ARISE Agenda under Governor Umo Eno’s administration. Affected staff have been directed to return to their previous posts until further notice.
