As part of the activities of the National Diaspora Day (NDD) Celebration 2024, the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa led a delegation of some Nigerian diasporas, American and Canadian parliamentarians on a courtesy visit to the Chairman Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs, Senator Victor Umeh to discuss capacity building, knowledge sharing and partnerships.
Amongst the delegates were Hon.Bobby Digi Olisa (CEO Canvas Institute of Arts, Culture & Civic Engagement, Senator Kevin Parker (Senator representing the State of New York, Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman, Chinua Duke (Chief Of Staff for Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman)
The theme of this year’s NDD Celebration ‘Japa Phenomena and its Implications for National Development’ is very apt, particularly at this time in Nigeria.
