NIDCOM reaffirms commitment to welfare of Nigerians in diaspora
Commends Magbo for Advocacy for Nigerians in Turkey

Jalingo — The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare, protection, and effective engagement of Nigerians living abroad.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NIDCOM, Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, OON, made this known during an interaction with the President of the Nigerian Community in Turkey, Prince Magbo, where she commended his efforts in championing the interests of Nigerians resident in Turkey.

Dr. Dabiri-Erewa noted that the commission remains focused on strengthening collaboration between diaspora communities and the Federal Government of Nigeria to ensure the wellbeing of Nigerians overseas.

In a statement issued by his aide, Acho Righteous, Prince Magbo praised NIDCOM for its continued support and advocacy on behalf of Nigerians in the diaspora.

He added that Nigerians living in Turkey appreciate the leadership and inclusive policies of the President Bola Tinubu administration, while reaffirming their commitment to patriotism and to serving as responsible ambassadors of Nigeria.
