Wife of Nigeria’s President and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has introduced the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Helen Eno Obareki to the Wives of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum as the First Lady Designate of the state.
During a meeting with State First Ladies who also double as State Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), in the Conference Room of the Office of the First Lady, State House Abuja, the First Lady of Nigeria informed the wives of Governors present that it was the desire of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, that Mrs. Obareki continue with the legacy of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, who had coordinated the RHI programme in the State along with other duties including her pet project, the Golden Initiative For All (GIFA).
Following the death of Pastor Patience Umo Eno on September 26, 2024, Mrs. Helen Eno Obareki assumed the role of the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady.
A minute of silence was observed in honour of Pastor Patience Eno and the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.
