Inese achieves excellence through diligence, integrity, sound strategy and a quest for continuous improvement. A pace-setter in a male dominated organization, emerged as the first female drilling engineer in Saudi Aramco (the largest organization in the world).

• She holds B.Eng & MSc (Oil and Gas Engineering) from Uniport(Nigeria) and Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland respectively.
• Doctorate Business Admin in Strategic Management & Finance (In View).
• Project Management Certificate from Mount Royal University – Calgary, Canada.
• Inese is affiliated with Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE); Charter Financial Analyst Society Bahrain (CFA); Project Management Institute (PMI); Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

Inese is a drilling engineering professional and project manager with 18 years oil and gas industry experience including seven (7) years with Saudi Aramco as the first female drilling engineer handling offshore and onshore drilling rigs for both Oil and Gas mega wells.

She began her oil and gas career with Compass Directional Services before moving to Asher Energy Inc as a consultant on multiple projects also covering management role both in Calgary, Alberta – Canada.

In addition to her technical skills, Inese is a talented public speaker, she possesses great interpersonal skills, enabling her established and coordinate an elaborate group of 250 talented Nigerian women effectively in the Kingdom. This was made easy by her abilities to multi-task, motivate and inspire people.

Inese also leads a group called “Akwaibomites in Saudi”. Currently working on collating in Doha, Oman and UAE (the Gulf countries).

Inese’s goal is to assist in fostering engagement and communications for Akwa Ibomites in the Middle East and environs.

Beyond all, she is a wife and a mother of three (3) grown boys, an indigene of Eket LGA, Akwa Ibom State, currently residing in the Saudi Arabia since 2009.
