I was born in Ikot Ambang Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State on 26th July 1972. I went through primary and secondary schools in Akwa Ibom state, moved to Lagos state for my tertiary education. And graduated from the Lagos State University (LASU) in the year 2000 with B Ed degree in education. In the year 2001 I did my NYSC compulsory service with the Kaduna state government house where I was actively involved in the community projects of the former Governor Makarfi`s wife pet project (the millenium hope).

I moved to South Africa in 2004, where I have been a resident till date. And have also participated in various community organisations activities and projects, for example: the Nigerian Union, the Niger delta association, and most importantly the Akwa Ibom Indigenes Organisation in south Africa, where I served as the P.R.O in 2016, then ex officio in 2017, vice president in 2018, subsequently, president in 2019 till 2023. Presently I am the welfare director for the forum of Akwa Ibom presidents worldwide (FOPAC).

Educationally, I have been attending short courses in agricultural developments and livestock productions in various institutions.
