UK-based entrepreneur partners foreign brands

A Nigerian entrepreneur based in the United Kingdom, Chinemerem Gerald, says he has partnered several foreign fragrance and luxury brands as part of his online fragrance review platform, Cologne Quest.

Gerald collaborated with brands including Prada, Giorgio Armani, Paco Rabanne, Montblanc, Sospiro, Arabian Oud, Ahmed Al Maghribi, Atralia, FAAN Perfumes, Mykonos and Polo during 2026, as part of efforts to expand his content across the fragrance and luxury sector.

Gerald, who began producing fragrance content professionally in 2024, runs Cologne Quest across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, where he reviews perfumes and discusses how different fragrances perform in everyday settings.

He said his content focuses less on describing individual scents and more on the practical questions that influence buying decisions, including scent profile and longevity.

“I try to give people information that helps them compare products and understand how a fragrance will actually perform, rather than just describing how it smells,” Gerald told Diaspora Tales.

Born in Lagos on April 23, 1996, Gerald said his childhood, spent partly in Lagos, Enugu, Kaduna and Owerri, exposed him to different cultural environments that have shaped how he approaches fragrance content.

He pursued education in Nigeria and the United States before completing further studies at the University of Hertfordshire in 2024, and has since been based in London.
