VOUCHER REIMBURSEMENT RESUMES AT THE BULK PURCHASE AGENCY

Following the suspension of the strike by organized labour for 5 days, the voucher reimbursement exercise will resume at the Akwa Ibom Bulk Purchase Agency.

A statement issued, on Tuesday 4th June 2024 by the agency and endorsed by the General Manager, Mr. Unyime Etim indicates that local government areas in Eket Senatorial district will have their turn on Tuesdays, while Ikot-Ekpene and Uyo Senatorial districts will have their turns, Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively.

The statement also adds that due to the strike, today’s session could not hold with Eket vendors as earlier scheduled, hence vendors from Eket will be attended to on Friday, June 7th, while the normal scheduling will resume next week.

The Agency however calls on all Ward Personal Assistants to the Governor and vendors to ensure compliance with the schedule.
