Welcome to October: Celebrating Nigeria @ 66

Happy New Month, Akwa Ibom Diaspora Family!

October begins with gratitude for the journey, the progress made, and the promise of what lies ahead.

As Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, we honour the strength of our shared identity and renew our commitment to building a nation where every connection and contribution, at home and in the diaspora, counts.

To every Akwa Ibom son and daughter living abroad, and to our friends of Akwa Ibom around the world, thank you for carrying our State’s name with pride. The Office of the SSA to the Governor on Diaspora Matters remains committed to serving you, protecting your interests, and strengthening the bridge between Akwa Ibom and her people across the globe.

We encourage you to stay connected, explore investment opportunities in the State, and give back to your communities of origin.

May October bring you good health, peace, and progress.

Happy New Month, and Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
