will roll out drums for Akwa Ibom Christmas Carols Festival season 17 on Friday, December 13, 2024.

He said both the season 17 of the Christmas Carols Festival and the Season 2 of the Christmas Unplugged, will take place at the Unity Park, Udo Udoma, Avenue, Uyo.

The Tourism Commissioner expressed with optimism that, it is going to be 32 days of contemporary, cultural and best-in-class Christian musical entertainment with opportunities for micro and small businesses to make brisk business.

He emphasized that, both events provide exceptional opportunities for corporate bodies to enhance their brand visibility, network and showcase their commitments to Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR).

Sir Udoh disclosed that, last year, the events attracted an estimated footprint of over 1.5 million and is widely adjudged to be the biggest event of it’s kind in Africa by shear size of its location, footprints and potentials for growth.

According to the Commissioner, the 2024 Christmas event is going to be bigger, better, and even more entertaining, with an anticipated footprint of 2million people.

He therefore calls on guests and visitors as well as potential investors, to book their flights quite ahead of time, as there is much in store for them in Akwa Ibom State come December, 2024.
