FATHER’S DAY MESSAGE

Father’s Day Message to All Fathers in Akwa Ibom, Both Home and in the Diaspora

Dear Fathers of Akwa Ibom,

On this special day dedicated to honouring fathers, I extend my heartfelt greetings and appreciation to all the fathers in Akwa Ibom State, both at home and in the diaspora. Your dedication, strength, and unwavering commitment to your families and communities are the pillars upon which our society stands.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we acknowledge the vital role fathers play in providing leadership within their families and stability within the larger society. Your efforts, sacrifices, and love do not go unnoticed, and today, we honour you for all you do.

Our administration, guided by the ARISE Agenda, is committed to ensuring the well-being and empowerment of all residents, including the elderly who have given so much to our state. We understand that our elders are the custodians of wisdom and experience, and it is our duty to support and care for them. Through various initiatives under the ARISE Agenda, we are focused on:

-Providing Enhanced Healthcare Services: We are improving access to quality healthcare, ensuring that the elderly receive the medical attention they need promptly and efficiently.

– Social Welfare Programs: Our administration is expanding social welfare programs to provide financial support and resources for the elderly, ensuring they live dignified and comfortable lives.

– Community Support and Engagement: We are fostering community-based support systems where the elderly can actively participate and remain integral parts of their communities.

Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, more prosperous Akwa Ibom where every father and elder is respected, valued, and supported.

On this Father’s Day, I pray for more grace upon all fathers as you continue to carry out your unique roles. May you be blessed with good health, joy, and fulfilment in all your endeavours.

Happy Father’s Day
