The Akwa Ibom State Bulk Purchase Agency, AKBPA, has announced resumption of food distribution exercise in the State.
Recall that the food distribution which entered its second phase was recently put on hold following the sad news of the demise of the Wife of the Governor, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs )Patience Umo Eno.
A Statement endorsed by the Chairman of the Bulk Purchase Agency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Dan Akpan, Tuesday in Uyo, the State capital indicates that the food truck will berth in Urua inyang, IKA Local Government Council Secretariat on Thursday, 10th October, 2024 at 9:am.
The agency has therefore requested the council administration in IKA, Ward Personal aides of the Governor, as well as Stakeholders to put beneficiaries on notice.
The statement reads; “In continuation of the ongoing food distribution program by the Akwa Ibom State Bulk Purchase Agency, the food truck will berth in IKA Local Government Area on Thursday 10th October, 2024 at 9:am”.
“Accordingly, the Executive Chairman of Ika Local Government Council , Ward Personal Assistants to the Governor, as well as Stakeholders, are advised to put beneficiaries on notice”.
