GOVERNOR UMO ENO’S YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PLANS: A SIMPLE BREAKDOWN

2. Governor Eno has put a large sum of money—₦650 million—towards helping young people and small businesses. This isn’t just about handing out cash but about providing the necessary support for success.

3. His focus is on local talent and new business ideas. By doing this, he aims to build a solid foundation for a growing economy in Akwa Ibom.

4. It’s not only about money. Eno’s administration is also working on important facilities. They have built 17 new schools and 16 new healthcare centers.

5. These new buildings are crucial for improving education and healthcare in the state.

6. Another major project is the road construction. Eno plans to build 599.34 kilometers of new roads to improve travel and connectivity across Akwa Ibom.

7. This road project will make getting around the state easier and more efficient, which is important for everyone.

8. Governor Eno is also helping those in need by distributing free food to vulnerable communities as part of his broader support efforts.

9. To ensure his work reaches everyone, Eno has appointed over 900 Personal Assistants across all 368 political wards.

10. This means people in every part of Akwa Ibom have someone to turn to for help and support.

11. Recently, Governor Eno promised to create 5,000 new jobs for young people. This is a direct response to the need for more job opportunities in the state.

12. There’s also been free medical outreach in the three Senatorial Districts, including 248 surgeries and 724 eye treatments.

13. Additionally, there’s been ₦125 million given as bursaries and ₦100 million in an education trust fund for disabled students.

14. The job initiative isn’t just about increasing employment numbers. It’s about providing real opportunities for young people and showing a commitment to addressing joblessness.

15. Eno’s actions are not just talk; they’re about making real changes. His administration is working hard to improve education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job opportunities.
