Obong Kingsley Nndem embodies the vibrant fusion of Nigeria's cultural richness and Canada's diverse tapestry. Currently calling Calgary, Alberta, home, Obong Kingsley Nndem's roots stretch back to the enchanting village of Ikot Ebo in the Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

With a passion for fostering community cohesion and uniting Akwa Ibom citizens in the diaspora, Obong Kingsley Nndem has served as the former president of the Akwa Ibom Association of Canada and currently holds the esteemed position of national president of the AkwaCross Association of Canada.

His academic pursuit led him to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Statistics as a pioneer graduate from the prestigious University of Uyo, Nigeria. However, his thirst for knowledge and passion for data analytics led him to pursue further studies in the field. Obong Kingsley Nndem holds multiple certificates in Data Analytics from renowned institutions such as Johns Hopkins University and Cornell University, solidifying his expertise in this ever-evolving domain.

Obong Kingsley Nndem has had a career spanning over two decades. From his early days with the African-East European Development Council as a Business Developer to his extensive tenure in the Nigerian and North American oil and gas industries, his expertise in data analytics has been pivotal. Currently, he serves as the Lead Data Strategist for The City of Calgary, where he leverages his wealth of experience to drive data-driven initiatives, optimizing civic operations and social programs.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Obong Kingsley Nndem is an avid traveller, dedicated community servant, and champion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. His love for the arts and soccer reflects his multifaceted personality and zest for life.

Moreover, his commitment to empowering youth shines through his initiatives in Etinan. He champions a summer computer literacy camp for children aged 8 and above, equipping them with essential digital skills for the future. His Raising Forward Pig Farming initiative also underscores his dedication to fostering self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship among the younger generation.

In essence, he epitomizes multiculturalism. He leverages his diverse background and expertise to positively impact his professional and personal spheres and support the governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency's ARISE Agenda, to create a brighter future for his community and beyond.
