I am Obonganwan Elizabeth Godwin from Ibiaku, Ibiono Ibom LGA.

I attended Union Secondary School, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and thereafter attended Long Island University, Brooklyn, New York and Mount Saint Vincent College, Riverdale, New York and studied Sociology.

I worked with Child Protective Services for the State of Texas Dept of Family and Protective Services and was entrusted to uphold protocol within the office among high-level executives. I maintained an extensive network of contacts and clients, working with law enforcement agencies for clearer guidance and accountability for children’s safety. I was promoted several times for adding value to my department. I retired after 18 years of service with the agency.

I was recognized by the Paramount Ruler of Ibiono Ibom LGA for impacting the lives of the widows and children. My goal in life is to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. I am particularly interested in impacting the lives of youth and people who are struggling with their daily lives. I am driven by a desire to continuously grow in my professional network, and becoming a mentor is my passion. I am eager to contribute to a team where I can utilize my experiences and continue to build upon them.

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.
