AKWA IBOM STATE HEALTH INSURANCE AGENCY (AKSHIA) RAMPS UP CIVIL/PUBLIC SERVANTS(FORMAL SECTOR) ENROLLMENT AS THEY ENROLL THE HEAD OF CIVIL SERVICE, ELDER EFFIONG ESSIEN INTO THE SCHEME.

In a short event at the office of the Head of Civil, Government House Uyo, I led a team of management and senior staff to enroll the number one civil servant, in the state – Elder Effiong Essien into the Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance Scheme.

The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Igbemi, Arthur thanked the admin boss for the support and encouragement enjoyed so far since AKSHIA was launched in September last year and craved for more collaboration going forward as our scheme continues to grow as he explained the scheme, its expectations including exclusions while the enrollment exercise was expressly carried out.

After the biometric capturing, the host and latest AKSHIA enrollee, Elder Effiong Essien thanked the Chairman of Board and SSA to the Governor, Dr. Edikan Ekwere for leading the team for his enrollment and commended the Agency for her strides so far promising more support and cooperation.

Much appreciation to our compassionate and exceptional Governor, HE Pst. Umo Eno PhD for his huge investment in health and human development, his imprints are indeed indelible.
